The aim of these A4 photocopiable books is to promote strategies for developing independent learning through reading and comprehension. By introducing examples of classic literature the children are encouraged to explore and research material. Deduction and inference play a key role in comprehension, so many of the questions are open-ended and therefore a clear understanding of the passage being read is essential.

The books include notes for teachers and are spiral bound for ease of photocopying.
