A structured approach to literacy providing a term-by-term programme of exercises to build skills in reading, comprehension, spelling and writing.

Year 2 - Spelling and Phonics provides a structured resource for the teaching of spelling, phonics, grammatical awareness and vocabulary as required by the 2014 English Curriculum. 

Pupils are presented with a range of activities based on the words lists in each unit including crosswords and wordsearches as well as cloze procedures and stories for dictation and comprehension.
